Is the Sasquatch harmed in any way?

No. He sheds his winter coat every spring against a cedar brushing post we built for him. We collect what falls. He has never been sheared, trapped, or startled — beyond the one time in 1991, which we do not discuss.

How warm are these, really?

Our signature pairs are rated to -40°C / -40°F in still air. The guard hairs are hollow-cored, so they trap warm air the way down does, but they don't compress when wet.

How do I pick a size?

Measure around your knuckles, excluding the thumb. Up to 18 cm is S, 18-20 cm M, 20-22 cm L, 22 cm+ XL. If it's wrong, we re-size free within 60 days.

Can I wash them?

Hand-wash cold with a wool-safe soap, press the water out — never wring — and dry flat away from heat. Do not tumble dry unless you want a very warm cat toy.

Why are some sizes always sold out?

One coat yields about eleven pairs a season, and we won't stretch the batch with filler fibre. When a size sells out, we wait for the next brushing.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, to most countries. Some regions classify cryptid fibre oddly at customs, so we declare it as 'brushed natural hair, non-endangered'. See shipping and returns for details.
